The reason of joining Tochu

When I was job hunting and searching for companies on a recruiting site, I found Tochu corporation by chance. Then, I went to corporation orientation and out about business products such as silica sand and casting material. And I decided to join because I thought I could use my experience and knowledge in school.

The job that I do now

Now, I work as a member of the maintenance department at the Aluminum Die Casting factory, and I maintenance and repair equipment which put in the factory. Mainly, I do dairy-checking and routine maintenance of equipment's to prevent from defend before occur. Also, I go to sites to check and repair them as soon as possible if a sudden failure happens.

Company atmosphere ( Age, number of people, relationshp with other coworkers...)

My department, Aluminum maintenance, their members age is broad, and it is easy to communicate with seniors. They have ample specialized knowledge, so I feel so grateful and helpful that I could get tips from them when I have trouble.

Rewarding and enjoyable of my job

The maintenance tasks often needed specialized knowledge, so I sometimes felt it difficult to tackle alone when I was a new staff. But recently I am so glad that I have cases which I can handle by myself. Also, equipment maintenance is the task which I control equipment's work in regular condition. I feel rewarded when I solve a fault quickly by myself if it happened.

What I would like to challenge next (new certificate, job, etc)

As maintenance jobs, equipment's and the contents of fault are broad, so I sometimes get tips from experienced senior employees. Still now, I have a lack of knowledge and experiences, so I search and ask senior team members when I have problems which I have no idea how to deal with. And, in the future, I would like to tackle with flexibly by myself even if any trouble occurred.

The reason of joining Tochu

In job hunting, I knew Tochu as a local company from introduction to teachers and friends. And then, on one of the educational activities, I visited it for company study, and I saw all the companions were kind, and worked in good earnest, so I decided to join.

The job that I do now

I am a member of the manufacturing department as management of resin coated sand, which is one of the Tochu Corporation products and is made from silica sand, resin, water, and auxiliary materials. As my mission, I adjust the amount of each ingredient to what each customer needs.
When I was a new employee, it was indeed hard to memorize every kind of ingredient such as, silica sand and resin, because Tochu corporation handles a lot of different brands of products. Now, I am getting used to my job, so I would like to try to do new jobs which I can teach my jobs to youngers later.

Company atmosphere ( Age, number of people, relationshp with other coworkers...)

In my department, total members is 15, and in detail, half the members are in their 20s, and others are from 30s to 60s and broad. And the atmosphere is really cheery. I am the youngest member in my department, but all of the members are friendly to me, and we have reliable relationships, for example, if one member has questions about a job, others help him regardless of age.

Rewarding and enjoyable of my job

I have good communication with coworkers, so I always enjoy work. In particular, I think our relationship among department members is the best in the corporation. Thanks to our members, I am motivated to work everyday.

What I would like to challenge next (new certificate, job, etc)

I would like to do the activity of 'Autonomous maintenance' harder than before. The activity of 'Autonomous maintenance' is for business improvement. Our department chief is this activities leader, and the department members follow him and tackle it a week. By doing this activity, it could connect with not only the reducing of defect, but also the improvement of product quality. I have been working in Tochu for 6 years and in a middle position, so from now on, I would like to work with thinking about not only my task, but also company profit.

The reason of joining Tochu

I had been interested in the field of HR, and I had thought about going back to Vietnam to find when I was job hunting. At that time, I met a person who had already worked at TOCHU corporation and heard that TOCHU wanted to recruit a person who was able to not only support Vietnamese workers but also be involved in HR duties. Thus, I figured out that I could do my interesting tasks in this company and decided to join in.

The job that I do now

My main job is recruiting new Vietnamese staff and support their life and job. In Addition, I get other GA and HR tasks, so I always get challenging opportunities.

In my companies, foreigners are not only Vietnamese but also different nationalities workers. In my department, we have 3 foreigners and members are from 20s to 60s. Even we have such diversity in the workplace, all of them work as natural. I am still not good at the Japanese language, so I sometimes feel faff in my work. However, they support me kindly, I really appreciate it.

Rewarding and enjoyable of my job

It is rewarding for me to contribute to making comfortable Vietnamese employees' working situations as I am involved in their recruitment and supporting. Also, for me, it is one of the attractive aspects which I do some kinds of new HR and GA tasks which I have never done and feel to develop my abilities.

What I would like to challenge next (new certificate, job, etc)

I would like to improve my Japanese skills to work as my foreign seniors.In addition, in terms of task, I would like to support not only Vietnamese, but also all of TOCHU staff.
